About 1,000 US Christian pastors and influencers will arrive in Israel next week for a week of briefings, memorial visits, and advocacy training, in what is set to be the largest ever US evangelical delegation to visit the Jewish State, the Friends of Zion Heritage Center said on Thursday.

The program, organized by FOZ with support from the Foreign Ministry, is set to begin on December 2 in Jerusalem and other sites nationwide, according to the organizers.

FOZ said the delegation will meet Israeli officials and civil society leaders and visit key memorial sites connected to the October 7 attacks. A prayer gathering at the Western Wall and a closing event in Jerusalem are planned.

FOZ to commission new 'Friends of Zion Ambassadors'

Participants are expected to be commissioned as “Friends of Zion Ambassadors,” with FOZ saying the cohort collectively reaches audiences of tens of millions in the United States. The initiative coincides with the museum’s 10th anniversary.

FOZ and other pro-Israel Christian groups have expanded outreach since October 7, highlighting evangelical support and mobilization efforts documented by The Jerusalem Post. Recent JPost coverage has profiled FOZ campaigns, broader evangelical partnerships, and national commemoration events tied to the Nova festival memorial.
